Rain or Shine: Tonight's Run is On

The forecast shows rain. The radar confirms it. But the Greenville Run Club meets at 6:45pm tonight regardless.

There's something about running in the rain that separates casual joggers from committed runners. It's not about being tough or proving a point. It's about consistency, showing up when conditions aren't perfect, and finding that the imperfect runs often become the most memorable.

Tonight's route remains the same: meeting at Falls Park, heading out along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The pace groups will form as usual. The only difference is we'll be a bit wetter at the finish.

For those debating whether to come: your running shoes will dry. Your clothes will wash. But the satisfaction of completing a rainy run with your crew stays with you. Plus, the group is always smaller on rainy days, which means more personal attention from pace leaders and stronger bonds with those who do show up.

Remember to wear a cap to keep rain out of your eyes, avoid cotton clothing, and bring a plastic bag for your car keys. See you at 6:45pm. Rain or shine, we run.
